Development of electronic weighing apparatus in China

2023-03-09

The development of China's electronic weighing apparatus industry has gone through a tortuous process. From the import of high-end 1C, which relies on more than 70 yuan at the initial stage, to the wide application of bipolar and triple integral circuits, the whole industry has entered a Spring and Autumn and Warring States era, with various manufacturers of all sizes flocking to it, and some large manufacturers with technical strength and foresight stand out from it, promoting the penetration of the weighbridge into the mechanical scale market, and opening up new application fields. However, the demand of the market for the quality improvement of the weighbridge and the cost pressure brought by the increasingly fierce competition urgently require the birth of the weighing instrument "China Core".

On December 14, 2007, under the guidance of the Department of Electronic Information Product Management of the Ministry of Information Industry, and hosted by the Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion Center of the Ministry of Information Industry (CSIP), the 2007 "China Core" Technology and Development Conference and the second "China Core" award ceremony were held in Beijing at a reduced weight. The high-precision Sigo-De ta ADC S1242 launched by Shenzhen Core Technology Co., Ltd. won the 2007 "China Core" Most Potential Award. It is the only 1G used in the field of measurement and industrial control among the 10 1C products awarded by "China Core", with a resolution of 246t and an effective accuracy of 21bit. CS1242 won this award, It marks that the manufacturer of electronic actuators also has the "China Chip" which can compete with the high-end products of the top 1C design companies abroad. From then on, it can get rid of the dependence on the imported 1C at high prices, as well as the overall quality problems caused by the bipolar and triple integration technology, and improve the technical level and international competitiveness of the products.
